The Museum of the Cherokee Indian accepts donations to help carry out its mission β€œto preserve and perpetuate the history, culture, and stories of the Cherokees.” Your gift is tax-deductible because the Museum is a non-profit organization with 501c3 status.

The Museum currently accepts cash/check contributions. Please check this page for updates on our forthcoming online donation options.

Why: We need your help! Although we are a non-profit, we operate with a businesslike approach, and generate about 75% of our budget from Box Office sales and Museum Store sales. 20% comes from grants and donations, and about 5% from the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians. We work hard and appreciate any support you can give.
