Salary and Hiring Range
Total Salary Range: $14.00 – $21.00 per hour
Hiring Range: $14.00 – $17.00 per hour

Purpose/Role
The Lead Front Line Associate will be responsible for supervision of all Front Line Associates, fulfillment of Webstore orders and ensuring a positive guest experience when visiting and/or interacting with MCI.
Responsibilities/Tasks
• Direct supervision of all Front Line Associates.
• Assists Manager of Visitor Services in schedule planning and inventory management.
• Takes lead on processing and fulfillment of new inventory in the Museum Store.
• Takes lead on inventory monitoring processes in the Museum Store and reports to the Manager of Visitor Services accordingly.
• Assists in Museum Webstore management.
• Ensures that Museum Webstore orders are processed, packed and shipped in a timely manner.
• Participates in regular clerking duties, included but not limited to:
• Assisting customers on the floor and at the cash wrap
• Regular fulfillment, cleaning, and organizing duties of the Museum Store and Box Office and all public facing areas of the museum including the exhibits and cases.
• Opening and Closing duties and paperwork
• Provides knowledgeable insight on Cherokee History and Culture to guests.
• Trains new hire Front Line Associates on operating procedures. Also assists in annual training of Front Line Associates.
• Promotes MCI Membership Program and assists visitors with membership processing when needed.
• Trains new hire Front Line Associates on operating procedures and membership sales.
• Regularly monitors housekeeping supplies and provides Manager of Visitor Services with list of needed supplies for housekeepers.
Skills/Knowledge/Qualities
• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• A demonstrated commitment to preserve and protect the history, culture, and stories of the Cherokees.
• Experience in and commitment to working in a team-oriented environment.
• Strong customer service skills and experience required.
• Strong computer literacy, and a knowledge of Point-of-Sale software is a plus.
• Self-driven initiative and performance of the highest quality, with keen attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize the urgency of competing requests and take charge to meet these deadlines.
• Excellent organizational skills.
Other
• Must be available to work early evenings and weekends.
• Must be available and willing to attend offsite management training.
• Reports to the Manager of Visitor Services.
• Will require occasional collaboration with Atsila Anotasgi Leadership.
